Delivery​

Melbourne Party Hire Co offers a delivery service for all of our hire products across Melbourne and surrounding suburbs.

We always aim to keep delivery fees as affordable as possible. Because of the scale of our operation, we can often group deliveries by region, helping reduce costs for our customers. Delivery fees vary depending on your location, the quantity of equipment hired, site access, and required delivery/pick-up times. Please call or email and we’ll confirm the delivery price for your chosen items.

Delivery drop-off (standard)
Unless otherwise arranged, we deliver all items in a neat pile at ground level in one location.

Extra charges may apply if:

  • You need items taken beyond ground level (e.g. upstairs/apartments)
  • Your event space is more than 20m from where our vehicle can safely park/unload (e.g. shopping centres far from loading docks, park picnic areas with long walk-ins)
  • Items must pass through stairs, elevators, escalators, or down a steep descent
  • You’ve hired a large quantity of equipment and additional labour is required for loading/unloading
  • You require drop-off or pick-up outside 8am–4pm (e.g. early morning, evening, or night delivery/collection)
  • You require a specific delivery time and cannot accept delivery within our general delivery hours (where possible, we can usually provide a 4-hour delivery window)


If access details and timing requirements aren’t provided at the time of booking, our driver may be unable to complete the delivery, and any additional charges incurred may be charged to the card on file.

Warehouse pick-up (to save on delivery)

If you’d like to save on delivery fees, some items may be available for pre-arranged pick-up from our Oakleigh warehouse:
Unit 9, 2 Railway Avenue, Oakleigh VIC 3166.

Pick-ups must be pre-arranged with our team and collected strictly between 10am–4pm, Monday to Friday. Weekend collection is not available.

You must have a suitable vehicle to safely transport the goods. If our team deems your vehicle unsafe or too small, delivery may be required for a fee. You must also bring packing blankets and adequate strapping to secure items for transport—otherwise pick-up may be declined.

Delivery times & acceptance

Delivery is typically completed between 8am–4pm, 7 days a week. If you need a specific time or delivery outside these hours, please let us know as early as possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate (additional fees may apply).

An adult (18+) must be present at delivery to accept the hire and sign the equipment hire contract.
